Sportsbook Poker on a Mac is now possible thanks to new software that was developed in recent weeks. The new Sportsbook Mac client can be downloaded by visiting the Sportsbook Poker homepage and looking for the poker download button. The website is set up to detect what kind of computer you have and it will send you the Mac version of the software if it detects you are using a Mac.

The Mac client is still in beta testing but it works and is fully live. There are two versions of this release: one for PCs and the other for Macs. All you have to do is visit the Sportsbook Poker website and you will be given the correct version for your computer.

This is a fully downloadable client that was designed specifically for Macs. You do not have to use any conversion tools or play on some sort of instant play software; this is the real deal. This is a major improvement over the past system in which tournament lobbies opened within the same window as the poker lobby, which made it confusing to navigate between tournaments and tables.

The poker lobby itself has also been improved in graphics and organization. Play money games are now listed completely separate from the rest of the games and tables are listed in a more clear manner, with clean fonts and improved icons that designate between different types of games.

Getting Started

If you don’t already have an account with Sportsbook Poker, you can get started by downloading the Mac software and installing it. When you run the software, you will see an option to create an account. Choose that option and follow the directions. It’s a pretty simple process and it only takes a minute from beginning to end.

Once you have an account, you can log in to it by running the Mac software on your computer. The software lets you log in to your account, manage your funds and play poker. The main poker lobby lets you navigate between the ring games and tournaments and all sub-categories.
